Healing Process

When you understand that everything is energy, then healing is clearing the blocked energy and restoring flow. But this is not a simple process.

Emotions create chaos. Negative emotions of trauma or chronic stress are stored in the mind and body affecting the normal function and disrupting flow. When you hold onto this negative energy, it causes blockages. Suppression of emotions is particularly damaging. These emotions may have occurred in childhood and are stored in memories that you are not even aware of. Or they may be part of your day to day life, living with toxic people or situations that are stressful. Over time, they become beliefs.

Beliefs are thoughts that we use to frame our understanding of society, life and how we should behave and think. They are conditioned into us from birth by our family and community. They are also expectations that we believe we must meet or we are failures, or undeserving of love. We create beliefs to survive in a difficult world. Trauma creates beliefs that we are victims, in danger, must please others. When we live in a toxic society, our beliefs for survival are not healthy. We may be harming others, or allowing others to harm us. We may think this is normal and we are powerless to change. We may believe that success is riches and power and sacrifice relationships to achieve this. We may believe that life is hard and we will never amount to anything worthwhile. These beliefs create conflict in ourselves, and this conflict creates depression, anxiety, and other mental illness. Our beliefs manifest our reality.

Physical is the most dense layer of energy. This is where all the emotions and beliefs settle. They block the flow of energy in the body stopping the cells from being able to perform their normal functions. We make this worse with poor lifestyle choices. The body is a machine that needs healthy food and regular activity. If we clog up this machine with poor nutrition and don't keep it active, then the machine starts to break down. There are certain places in the body where emotions and beliefs are stored. We can often diagnose based on where the problems are occurring. Sore shoulders and neck is feeling burdened with responsibility, which weighs us down and gives us poor posture. Stored resentment can lead to cancer. Poor knees is fear of moving forward in life. Diabetes can be lack of kindness in one's life.

Fear is the basis of most of our lives. We make choices out of fear to stop or prevent something painful happening. We create pain when we live in fear. We block or slow the flow of energy. Our negative emotions and beliefs were all created from fear.

Love is flow. When we let go of fear and change our paradigm, we restore flow and create our own healing. This is the basis of energy healing.

Therapy is working through the memories and beliefs that hold negative emotions and are harming you. When these are released, healing is instantaneous. Resource Therapy uses somatics to find where the fear is stored in the body and explores the different memories and beliefs to facilitate healing and transition to positive energy. Hypnotherapy takes you into the subconscious space where there is little resistance to healing and the guides and higher self can come in to assist. Counselling is listening to your emotions, beliefs and fears, looking at life lessons, understanding them and gaining a different perspective of life.

Hypnosis is used to reprogram. The mind is a powerful tool. When we access the control centre, we can turn down or off pain, and reprogram beliefs that are harmful, replacing them with positive affirmations. Under hypnosis we can also use scripts that heal at a cellular level, ask questions of the higher self and bring in the white lights to help heal. The subconscious is a powerful place for healing as it does not require evidence to believe.

Trust is required for healing. My promise to you is I will never abuse this trust you place in me. You are aware of what is happening at all times, and I will record all hypnosis sessions for you to listen to later on. I will only ever listen from a place of love without judgement, and if you feel judged, you should call me out on this. I will never force you into any process or do anything against your will, or humiliate you in any way. I only work with people who are seeking to heal, and I will offer you the range of skills I have to facilitate this. You are the one doing the healing, I am your guide for the process. We will work at the pace that suits you.

Common presentations

Anxiety

Anxiety is the body and mind telling you it needs help. It may be conflicted thoughts, old trauma, fear of some kind that is causing the energy to go into chaos. Anxiety is the most common presentation for help as it is so hard to live with.

First we explore where in the body you are feeling it, and then delve into the subconscious to find out why. From here we go the pathway required to bring about healing.

Trauma will usually present as anxiety because the old fears keep getting triggered again and again. Fear of rejection, failure, abandonment, fear of not being safe. These traumas need to be healed so that you can feel safe again and have the confidence to work through life challenges.

PTSD

This is more common than ever, and usually a result of a perceived life threatening event. It is characterized by reliving the trauma as if it is happening now. A sudden relationship breakdown or domestic violence can also cause PTSD.

The healing process is hypnotherapy with dissociation. Using these together, we are able to move the memory from the immediate into the past and remove harmful emotions. You will still have the memory, but it will feel like a distant story.

Relationships

We learn our life lessons through relationships or lack of them. Learning how to traverse relationships begins with self-examination. The other person is our mirror.

Why are they triggering you? What needs are they fulfilling? What expectations do you carry? Is it a soul agreement? Is there a karmic debt? How are you helping each other to move through life and grow? When does the agreement end?

We can answer all of these questions through hypnotherapy, past life regression, and resource therapy. Sessions can be done individually, together or both.

In resource therapy we can also map the parts of each person and explore them as a couple to see where you have conflicting beliefs so we can negotiate compromise. This can help understand and  reconcile the different backgrounds.

Depression

Depression can be physical or emotional. Poor gut health, side effects of medication, lack of exercise and outdoor activity, poor sleep patterns, can all change the chemicals in the brain resulting in depression.

Depression can also be disappointment, conflicting beliefs, feeling stuck or overwhelmed, thoughts of ending it all, feeling like you don't belong.

It may come in cycles, be triggered by people or events, or hang there in the background all the time. No matter the cause, it can be healed. Working with the subconscious is the quickest and easiest way to restore positive energy to mind and body.

Chronic Pain

Acute pain occurs when you first have an injury, but after it heals, ongoing pain is chronic and almost always psychological. This does not mean you are making it up, but the mind is holding a memory of pain for protection. If you forget your pain when doing something you enjoy, then it is the memory of pain. This memory can be reprogramed so that the pain is no longer there, or is reduced considerably.

Health Issues

All chronic health issues are blocked energy. By where they are in the body, we have an idea of the source of the blockage. It may be emotional, trauma, or a belief that is harming you. When we clear this blockage, health is returned.

Some illnesses serve a purpose, and we need to find another way to fulfil this need so that the illness is no longer needed. Cancer is one of these, as is most illnesses that debilitate us. Many are a symptom of chronic stress and the body is crying out for help.

We can reprogram the body at a cellular level to clear the illness in hypnotherapy.

We can talk to the illness and negotiate in resource therapy.

We can bring in the white lights and do energy healing.

We can look at lifestyle and mindset changes to clear and maintain the flow of energy in the body.

We can become healthy again.

Grief

Loss is one of the most difficult experiences and we are not taught how to manage. There are different stages you will go through, denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. But sometimes you may become stuck in one of these stages and need assistance. Loss can be death, but it can also be loss of a relationship, a job, a situation of role that was important to your identity or fulfilled a need. Loss and loneliness often go together as there is a void created in your life. Loss can occur when family dynamics change such as retirement, or empty nest. Loss is a natural part of life, but getting stuck in the healing process is harmful. We need to close that door with acceptance so that another door can open.

Acute Pain

Physical pain serves a purpose, but it can also be turned off temporarily by allowing the mind to go somewhere else and escaping the pain. This can be used for anesthetic, pain relief in child birth or painful procedures. The brain can be programed to bring back the pain if medical attention is required. You can learn how to activate your own pain relief to reduce the need for pain medication.

Guidance

Whilst I have a degree  in psychology, my therapy goes a different path. I believe that we are all souls seeking guidance on how to be human. Being human is difficult, and we are all given different challenges to learn. Your subconscious knows what you need to learn next, and will assist you when it can.

My own guides work with me to assist the conversation in counselling, or the questions in therapy so that I can take you where you need to heal, learn and grow. The energy in the room during a therapy session is a very strong healing energy because of this.

My own healing journey has been intensive and I have gained much wisdom from that experience which I can share when relevant. I have done a lot of research and seeking answers for my own healing journey that I bring to the process.

Self-Love and Boundaries

Life lessons are all about learning self-love and setting boundaries. At the basis of all therapy is identifying where self-love is being blocked and why a person is not setting boundaries to protect themselves. It is usually conditioning and expectations from external sources that override the need to love oneself. This is how we feel we need to behave to survive and be accepted. Trauma is the basis of most fear. This fear triggers us, keeping us in scarcity and contraction mindset.

Self-love is learning your worth, and loving the imperfect as you are a student of life. Boundaries is respect, discernment, preventing harm to self and others. We often need to change the perspective to understand this is your story, and you are not a supporting character in others' stories only. Your story has priority and you are the lead role.

Identity is a large part of self-love. We are often confused, or living an identity that we do not like much and this causes conflict. This is the therapy journey of letting go of old identities and finding the ones that align with self-love. Love expands and brings abundance and joy.

The goal is reaching the I am!
